Yesterday afternoon, the investment promotion conference of PinghuSino-Japanese International Kangyang Science and Technology Park was held. Deputy Mayor Chen Qunwei attended the meeting.
PinghuSino-Japanese International Kangyang Science and Technology Park Project has a total planned area of 1,000 mu. Focus on the introduction of Japanese and international advanced health care auxiliary equipment manufacturing enterprises and high-end medical and health resources, build a production base and R&D center of Japanese Kangyang assistive equipment enterprises in China, and build a supply chain base and products to serve the industrial development of China's health pension groups. The distribution center will build a Sino-Japanese health product culture tourism shopping district, Sino-Japanese international health care vocational training and two-way base, and build facilities, hotels and other supporting facilities featuring Kangyang industry.
The city and Japan have always had a close relationship. In 1990, the first Japanese-funded enterprise settled in Pinghu. In the past 30 years, Pinghu has introduced more than 240 Japanese-funded enterprises, with a total investment of over US$3 billion. Foreign capital exceeded 1.4 billion US dollars. At present, there are more than 1,000 Japanese nationals who work and live in Pinghu all the year round. Pinghu has also become the only Japanese-invested investment cluster approved by the provincial government. Pinghu Economic and Technological Development Zone was named the only “development zone most popular among Japanese companies”.
